Be bold in this experience. It may feel easier to play small or hide your Light, but stay open to discovering how extraordinary you truly are. Your Rainbow One already knows it, that’s how they feel about you. Now it’s your turn to believe it too.

Estimated Time Required: 15 – 30 minutes or more

You Will Need: Your Healing Book, a writing instrument, and a safe, sacred space

1. Set a Positive Intention for Healing
Write down your healing intention that includes the phrase for the Highest Good, along with anything that supports what you most want to experience.
2. Breathe and Be In Your Body
Use some natural, slow or somatic breathing.
3. Connect With Your Rainbow One
Take a little time to allow yourself to connect deeply with your Rainbow One. Allow any feelings you have now, or have been experiencing. You might like to look at photos, or videos. But give yourself some time to genuinely reconnect with the love, admiration and awe you have for them.
4. Write Down Their Qualities
Allow yourself to reflect and write down the top three or more qualities they have. You might end up with a dozen! That’s ok. But make sure you write down at least three.

My experience of Ellie:
Sassy, bold, determined, brave, beautiful, perfect, goofy, champion, tenacious
</aside>
The word champion is obviously a noun, and not a “quality” or an “adjective”, but for me, it carries an energy and a truth that is important for me to list as one of Ellie’s qualities. Trust the words that pop into your consciousness.
5. Describe How They Lived Each Quality
Write down the qualities again, one by one, and in as much detail as you can, share about how your beloved animal epitomized and lived these qualities. Share as little or as much as you’d like.
<aside> <img src="/icons/gem_orange.svg" alt="/icons/gem_orange.svg" width="40px" />
My experience of Ellie as ****sassy and bold:
Ellie did what she wanted. She never held back expressing how she felt. She was big energy, and you knew exactly how she felt and what she wanted to do. She was just so much energy, so much Light, so much brightness for life. She was not scared to growl at me when she didn’t feel safe. She was bold and honest in asking for the space and time she needed.

6. Claim How You Live Each Quality
Again, write down each quality, but this time you’re going to describe how you epitomize and live each quality.
If your inner critic pops up with “You don’t!”—gently thank it for its opinion and keep going. Stay curious, and start with the smallest possible way you can see this quality within yourself. Yes, you’ll probably notice times when you don’t embody it—but I bet you a trillion dollars you can also find moments when you absolutely do.
Share as little or as much as you like. Do your best to claim that quality as fully as you can.
<aside> <img src="/icons/gem_orange.svg" alt="/icons/gem_orange.svg" width="40px" />
My experience of me as sassy and bold:
I boldly share my feelings and my vulnerability, even when it’s uncomfortable. I do care so much about dogs, and about healing, and I boldly live my truth even when it’s not a popular point of view.

7. Your Opportunities to Expand These Qualities
Open to the simple idea, that your beloved animal came to teach and support you in expanding into their qualities. They came to help you find, nurture and grow these qualities inside of you. Write down each quality again, and write down all the opportunities you have in your life. Describe how you can live these qualities more.
<aside> <img src="/icons/gem_orange.svg" alt="/icons/gem_orange.svg" width="40px" />
My opportunities to be more sassy and bold:
This is huge for me. I needed to hear this right now. I find it hard to share my truth when it’s uncomfortable for others to hear, and I want to be much more honest and authentic about this moving forward. I want to be me. All of me. I don’t want to be afraid to be the big brave Light that I am. I want to shine as brightly as I can. I want to be all of me, even if it’s not popular with others. I can do it.

8. Complete with Gratitude
Wholeheartedly thank your Rainbow One. Take a moment and speak directly to your Rainbow One.
<aside> <img src="/icons/gem_orange.svg" alt="/icons/gem_orange.svg" width="40px" />
Example:
Thank you, (Name).
Thank you for showing me who I really am. Keep showing me. Keep guiding me. Thank you and I love you.

9. Write Down Awareness
Pause, breathe, and notice what’s here now. Write down any insights. Ask the questions that matter, and open to intuitive guidance for your next steps.
10. Thank and Reward Yourself
Thank yourself for having the courage to dive in so deeply. Now go treat yourself with what feels good to you.

No one brings out the best in us quite like our beloved animals.
They arrive to give us what we need, more joy, more presence, more Love. And even after they’ve passed over the Rainbow Bridge, they remain, still and soft within our hearts, guiding us and awakening the same love and wholeness inside ourselves.
